Edwin King Stodola (1914-1992) was an American radio engineer known for his contributions to radar technology. He graduated from Cooper Union and served as a civilian engineer in the U.S. Signal Corps during WWII, notably working on radar systems to prevent Kamikaze strikes. He was the chief scientist on Project Diana, successfully bouncing radio signals off the Moon. Post-war, he worked with Reeves Instrument Corporation and received several prestigious awards for his work in radar and tracking systems.
