Edwin Myrwyn Rowlands (1901-1961) was a Welsh-American politician who served in both the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate. Born in Cambria, Wisconsin, he was of Welsh descent. He married actress Mary Allen Neal, with whom he had two children, including Gena Rowlands, an acclaimed actress. Rowlands was involved in politics as a member of the Wisconsin Progressive Party and served from 1927 to 1937. He passed away four days before his 60th birthday in Texas.
