He represented the Humboldt, Regina Northeast, and Regina Dewdney electoral districts during his tenure. Tchorzewski, born in Alvena, Saskatchewan, was educated in Hudson Bay and at the University of Saskatchewan, where he also taught school. After resigning in 1999, he continued his political career as chief of staff and special adviser. He passed away in Regina at the age of 65.
