Eeva Angelina Vuorenpää (née Kovanen) was a Finnish television director and author, born on December 23, 1939, and passing on July 26, 2023. She worked as a television director and presenter from 1987 to 2003, creating cultural documentaries that were also shown internationally. Additionally, she served as an announcer for Yle TV2 from 1974 to 1981. After retiring, she authored five novels, including the Kotkansilmä trilogy, based on a Finnish manor community, and other works reflecting her childhood and Finnish-American immigration.
