She played for the Greek women's national team in the Chess Olympiads of 1984 and 1986, achieving a positive result of 12.5 points in 21 games. Kasioura won the Greek individual championship in 1986, sharing the title with Anna-Maria Botsari. She also participated in zonal tournaments and held the title of Women’s FIDE Master (WFM) since 1985, with her highest Elo rating reaching 2194 in January 2000. She passed away in December 2010 after a long illness.
