Egon von Vietinghoff was a Swiss painter, author, and philosopher born on February 6, 1903, in The Hague, Netherlands. He focused on traditional European oil-resin painting techniques and developed the concept of 'Visionary Painting,' which emphasized a transcendental perspective in art. He crafted over 2,700 oil paintings along with around 200 drawings and etchings throughout his career, and he also founded the Egon von Vietinghoff Foundation. He passed away on October 14, 1994, in Zurich.
