Eija Rasinmäki, born on June 18, 1945, in Punkalaidun, is a Finnish textile artist and designer known for her rugs. She founded her first weaving factory in Loimaa in 1970 and later expanded operations in Hausjärvi. Her rugs have been exhibited in galleries and museums and sold to notable retailers in Finland and the U.S. Rasinmäki co-founded Finarte in Portugal and has worked with Finarte (India) Oy since 1992. A celebrated artist, she marked her 50-year career with an exhibition in 2021 and published her autobiography the same year.
