Eilon Vaadia is an Emeritus Professor of Neuroscience at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was a member of the Edmond and Lily Safra Center for Brain Sciences (ELSC) and the Jerusalem Brain Community. Since 2009, he led the founding group of ELSC and served as its founding director until his retirement in October 2016. His research primarily focused on neurons and neural networks in the cerebral cortex within the Department of Physiology at the Hebrew University Medical School, Ein Kerem campus.
