Einar Aarø (born December 5, 1937) is a Norwegian visual artist and jazz musician known for his contributions to both the arts and music. He studied at the Bergen School of Arts and Crafts and Statens lærerhøgskole. Aarø had his first solo exhibition in 1970 and co-founded an art school in Ålesund. He received an illustration award for his work in a children's book. In addition to visual arts, he has played banjo in Ytre Suløens Jass-ensemble since 1973, contributing to numerous traditional jazz recordings.
