Einar Skaatan (born January 17, 1907, in Hedrum; died 1990) was a Norwegian poet. In 1935, he wrote verses 2-3 to the Christian song 'Jeg råde vil alle,' set to a folk tune from Romsdal. He is known for his works such as 'Haverskul i løkkjæ' (1970–1971), 'Di veit ikkje a no, sa besta' (1972–1973), 'En vise fra Hedrum' (1980–1981), and 'Til gitaren' (1982–1983). His contributions to Norwegian literature explore traditional themes and local culture.
