Eita Yashiro (born June 2, 1937) is a Japanese politician, announcer, talent, and university professor. He is known for his political career, serving as the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications (the 65th and 66th), as well as a member of the House of Councillors and the House of Representatives, each for three terms. His real name is Eisaburo Maejima. Yashiro has been influential in Japanese politics and media.
