Mika Eivind Still was a Finnish yacht designer born on May 14, 1931, in Uusikaarlepyy. He gained prominence with the Finn Fire II, winning the 3/4 Ton Cup in England in 1976. This victory led him to shift from a 20-year mathematics teaching career to yacht design, founding Still Yachts. He specialized in fiberglass family boats such as Finn 26 and Finn Express 83, and also designed higher-end models like Finn Fire 33 and Maestro 35, among others. He received the Finnboatin recognition award in 2007.
