Eizō Kiyomoto (February 23, 1936 - December 31, 2016) was a prominent Japanese shamisen player specializing in the Kiyomoto style. Born in Fukagawa, Kōtō, Tokyo, his real name was Taichi Koyanagi. He was the son of the famous Kiyomoto Wakajutayu and brother of Kiyomoto Mishutayu. A significant figure in traditional Japanese music, he was recognized as a holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property (Living National Treasure). Throughout his life, he served as a director and vice president of the Kiyomoto Association.
