Ekaterina Polyanskaya is a Russian poetess and translator, fluent in Polish and Serbian. Born and residing in Saint Petersburg, she graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Medical University in 1992. From 1993 to 2008, she worked at the Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics. A member of the Union of Writers of Russia since 2002, her works have been translated into several languages including Polish, Bulgarian, Japanese, English, Serbian, and Czech.
