Eldar Myhre is a Norwegian labor leader, currently serving as the head of Fellesforbundet Avdeling 25 since April 1, 2009. He was previously a corporate trust representative at Aker Kværner and led the opposition against Kjell Inge Røkke's takeover of the company. Myhre has a background in the ml-movement and AKP, leaving in the early 1990s. He is part of the labor opposition in LO, often representing views that differ from the leadership. He has two children, Ingunn and Aslak Sira Myhre, the latter a former leader of the Red Electoral Alliance.
