Sir Eldryd Hugh Owen Parry KCMG, OBE (27 November 1930 – 13 November 2022) was a Welsh academic and physician. He founded the Health and Education Trust for Tropical Diseases. Parry was educated at Shrewsbury School and studied medicine at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He worked at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London before being seconded to University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1960. Parry held several positions in Nigeria and was an Honorary Fellow of Cardiff University. He passed away at the age of 91.
