Elî Kaşifpûr, also known as Ali Kashefpour, was an influential member of the central committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran (KDP-I). His political career was marked by his commitment to Kurdish rights and autonomy within Iran. Tragically, his life was cut short when he was assassinated on August 15, 1990, in the city of Konya, reflecting the violent political climate faced by Kurdish activists and leaders during that period.
