Eli Sadan is an Israeli Orthodox rabbi born in December 1948. He is the founder and head of the Mechina 'Bnei David', which is the first preparatory program for military service in Israel. In 2016, he was awarded the Israel Prize for lifetime achievement for his significant contributions to society and the state.
