Elina Johanna Grundström, born on May 30, 1963, in Tampere, is a Finnish journalist and non-fiction writer. She served as the editor-in-chief of Vihreä Lanka from 2006 to 2010 and was a visiting professor of journalism at the University of Tampere from 2013 to 2014. In 2016, she became the first full-time chairperson of the Council for Mass Media in Finland. Grundström has received the State Prize for Information for her contributions to public discourse and has written several notable works, including ‘Alkuperämaa tuntematon’ and ‘Musta orkidea.’
