Elisabeth Colbiørnsen was a Norwegian editor, women's rights advocate, librarian, and president of the Oslo Women's Association from 1960 to 1962. Born Anna Elisabeth Throne Busch on December 26, 1917, she was the daughter of bank manager Bolivar Busch. Colbiørnsen married architect Kjell Torstein Colbiørnsen in 1941, and through their daughter Sidsel, she became a mother-in-law to artist Ørnulf Opdahl. She passed away on June 1, 2007 in Oslo.
