He began his musical career in the 1960s and played with several jazz bands, including Cap Horn Blowers and Fessors Big City Jazzband. Jørgensen later formed the trio 'Gadedrengene' and his own group 'Nulle & Verdensorkestret'. Besides music, he worked in television as a writer, actor, director, and composer.
