Elizabeth Simon, originally Böske Simon, was a Jewish Hungarian beauty queen born in 1909. She gained fame as the first winner of Miss Hungary in 1929 and later won the Miss Europe pageant in Paris the same year. Following her victories, she experienced public adoration but also faced antisemitic attacks. She married twice, first to Pál Brammer and later to Dániel Jób. Although they survived the Holocaust in hiding, they endured significant hardships in the post-war years until her death in 1970.
