Elizeba Cherono is a Dutch long-distance runner of Kenyan origin, born on June 6, 1988. She moved to the Netherlands in 2012, where she became a partner of physiotherapist Menno Franken. Cherono has participated in numerous road races in the Netherlands since 2011 and has won several. In February 2016, shortly after receiving her Dutch passport, she won her first Dutch title in the 10 km at the Groet uit Schoorl Run. After her pregnancy in late 2017, she returned to competition in October 2023 during the Dam tot Damloop.
