Marjorie Ellen Lobb, born December 24, 1947, in New York, is an American-Norwegian visual artist residing in Vestre Sandøya, Norway. She primarily works with woodcuts and oil paintings. Lobb moved to Norway in 1970 after completing her bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Rhode Island School of Design. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Norway. Apart from her art, she has also worked as an illustrator and taught aesthetic subjects in secondary schools in Aust-Agder.
