Éloi Monod (1918-2007) was a French glassmaker and the founder of the Biot glassworks in the Alpes-Maritimes in 1956. He played a pivotal role in revitalizing the art of artisan glassmaking in France. Monod served as the mayor of Biot from 1961 to 1971, representing the French Communist Party. His contributions to the craft have had a lasting impact on the glass art community in the region.
