Elsa Eikaas, born January 11, 1937, in Sanddal, Jølster, is a Norwegian textile artist known for her innovative approach to traditions in weaving and church textiles. Since the 1970s, she has created numerous monumental textile artworks for public buildings, particularly in sacred spaces such as churches, hospital chapels, and community centers. From 2000 to 2006, her church textiles gained special attention in collaboration with Myklebust Kunst & Handverk.
