Else Berit Eikeland is a Norwegian diplomat born on 22 October 1957. She began her career at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987, becoming subdirector in 1998. Eikeland served as a counsellor at the Norwegian embassy in London (2004-2006) before returning as senior adviser and head of department. She held the ambassadorial roles in Canada (2009-2012), polar affairs adviser and ambassador to the Arctic Council (2013-2016), ambassador to Ireland (2016-2020), and is currently ambassador to Estonia since 2020.
