Else Thoresen is a Norwegian badminton player born on January 19, 1961. She was one of Norway's most successful badminton players in the 1970s and 1980s, winning twelve junior titles and 19 senior titles in her home country. Thoresen was also a notable competitor on the European stage, finishing second in singles at the 1979 Junior European Championships and representing her country at the 1980 Badminton World Championships.
