Elsie Margareta Dahlberg-Sundborg was a notable Swedish sculptor and medalist born in 1916 and passing away in 2005. She embarked on her art studies in 1937 and furthered her education in Denmark, France, and Italy during the early 1950s. Dahlberg-Sundborg completed various public commissions, becoming a member of the Nya Idun society in 1958. In 1968, she created the bronze sculpture titled 'Snacket' for the Malmberget town council and specialized in medals in the late 1970s, later transitioning to wood carvings in the 1980s.
