Elspeth Kennedy, born Elsie Cantlie Myron on April 3, 1931, was a prominent New Zealand sharebroker and community leader known for her pioneering achievements. She became the first woman in New Zealand elected to a metropolitan stock exchange and was also the first woman to establish her own broking firm. Additionally, Kennedy played a significant role in community service as she served as the chair of the Nelson Tasman Hospice Trust from 1998 until 2014.
