Eluned Morgan, Baroness Morgan of Ely, born on February 16, 1967, in Cardiff, is a British politician and member of the Labour Party. She served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1994 to 2009. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Senedd (Welsh Parliament). She has been part of the governments of Mark Drakeford and Vaughan Gething since 2017. In 2024, she was elected as the leader of the Labour Party in Wales and became the first female First Minister of Wales.
