The boy passed away in 2009. Elvis Blue is known for hit songs such as Rede om te glo, Toe ons jonk was, Die hemel, and Spore. He has also served as a mentor on the reality music competition 'Die Kontrak' on VIA on DStv, guiding contestants Faraway George and Natasha Zaaiman.
