He coerced his victims online into sending degrading images of themselves or committing crimes against others, such as rape and assault. Operating from anonymous accounts, he republished these images to gain status on the dark web. He was deemed one of the most prolific and depraved criminals encountered by the National Crime Agency. In October 2017, he pled guilty to 137 charges, leading to a 32-year prison sentence, later reduced to 25 years.
