Emerîkê Serdar (Amarik Davreshovich Sardaryan) was a Yazidi–Kurdish writer from Armenia, born on February 8, 1935, in the village of Pampa Kurda (Sîpan) in the Armenian SSR. He contributed significantly to the Kurdish literary scene and is remembered for his works that reflect the culture and struggles of the Yazidi and Kurdish communities. Serdar's impact on literature continues to influence writers and readers alike, honoring his heritage through storytelling. He passed away on February 19, 2018.
