Emiko Kagawa, born on October 18, 1965, is a Japanese freelance announcer affiliated with Horipro's Sports Cultural Department. She began her career with Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) in 1988 and was the first woman hired by the network as a sports announcer. After leaving TBS in 1998, she transitioned to writing. In 2001, she married Takushi Taguchi, a former NPB player, and changed her name to Emiko Taguchi, which she has since used in her public activities.
