Emmanuel Kana Mani was an influential Anglican bishop in Nigeria, born on June 10, 1951. He served in the Nigeria Army beginning in 1968 and later became a military chaplain. Ordained in 1983, he was appointed Bishop of Maiduguri in 1990 and later Archbishop of Jos in 2002, serving until 2008. Mani passed away in 2017, leaving behind his wife Sarah and six children.
