Enda Naaber, born on September 1, 1938, in Kuressaare, is an Estonian journalist and writer. He grew up on a farm in Muhu Island, where he spent his early years. After graduating from Orissaare Secondary School in 1958, he studied Estonian language and literature at Tartu State University. He worked as a cultural journalist and editor for a local newspaper until 1992, then became a freelance journalist. He is a member of the Estonian Nature Conservation Society and was part of the Saarte Green Movement in the 1980s.
