Enrique Abril Rey (December 3, 1908 - 1976) was a prominent Basque pelota player from Gipuzkoa. He competed primarily in the Palaz format and represented the Loiolatarra Sports Society. Abril became a Spanish champion four times, winning in 1943 and 1944 with partner Andonaegi, and again in 1947 and 1950 with Artola. He was also an official in the federation and later worked as a commentator in the media. Notably, he authored a book on rebote, 'Dos siglos de Pelota Vasca', which highlights his contributions to the sport.
