Enrique José de Cruz Montero Marx was a Chilean lawyer and military officer, holding the rank of Brigadier General in the Chilean Air Force. He served as Undersecretary between 1973-1982 and as Minister of the Interior from 1982-1983 during the military dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet. Montero was born in Ovalle on February 28, 1928, and passed away in Santiago on July 20, 2022.
