Erasmus Hendjala is a Namibian politician born on December 31, 1947. He served as a member of SWAPO from 1993 to August 2008, representing the Hakahana and Tobias Hainyeko constituencies. He was expelled from SWAPO for misconduct in 2008 and subsequently joined the Rally for Democracy and Progress. Hendjala intended to contest a regional by-election following his expulsion, but three opposition parties, including his new party, withdrew, resulting in an uncontested SWAPO victory.
