Erhard Ringer (April 10, 1960 – April 2, 2019) was an Austrian graphic designer and publisher. Initially trained as an electrical engineer, he worked as a telecommunication instructor at a military academy between 1980 and 1990, serving multiple times as a UN peacekeeper in the Golan Heights. From 1993, he transitioned to graphic design, notably contributing illustrations and maps for various science-fiction and fantasy literature. He was recognized for his maps of fictional worlds and collaborated with prominent authors. Ringer also co-published two volumes of fantasy stories in the 1980s and authored a book on the Conan universe.
