She was associated with Stardust Promotion and is known for her work as a gravure idol, being selected as part of the second generation of Petite Angel. Between 2002 and 2003, she was involved in the visual unit 'Chao' alongside other idols and was also part of the idol unit 'D★shues'. Over time, Asahina shifted her focus more towards acting.
