Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, is an American video game developer, designer, artist, composer, and musician, born on December 3, 1987, in Los Angeles, California. He is best known as the creator of the popular game 'Stardew Valley.' After graduating from the University of Washington Tacoma with a degree in computer science in 2011, he started developing 'Stardew Valley' in 2012 to enhance his job prospects. He worked on the game solo every day until its release in 2016. In 2020, he announced he was working on several new games, including 'Haunted Chocolatier.'
