Eric Chen, born on June 2, 1956, in Zhushan Township, Nantou County, is a Taiwanese prosecutor and educator. He has served in various roles within the Ministry of Justice, including positions in the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office and the Supreme Court Prosecutor's Office. In 2009, he was promoted to head the education division at the Judicial Training Institute. In December 2016, he was appointed as the executive director of the Ministry's first think tank, the Legal Policy Consultation Group, following a discussion by the Prosecutorial Review Committee.
