Eric Ernst Nordholt is a former Dutch police officer born on April 11, 1939, in Beverwijk. He served as the chief of police from 1987 to 1997, holding the rank of chief commissioner. Initially, he was the head of the Municipal Police of Amsterdam and later became the chief of the regional police force, Police Amsterdam-Amstelland, starting in 1994.
