Eric Rosenblith (1920-2010) was a prominent Austrian-born American violinist known for his role as concertmaster for the Indianapolis and San Antonio Symphony Orchestras. A distinguished performer and educator, he served as the chairman of the New England Conservatory's string department for over 25 years and was a faculty member at Hartt School and Longy School of Music. Rosenblith was a visiting professor at the University of Kansas and premiered numerous works by American composers, alongside founding the International Musical Arts Institute in Maine and mentoring many notable students.
