Eric Täckström, also known as Ax-Täckström, was a Swedish painter born on April 2, 1911, in Eskilstuna and passed away on February 23, 1992, in Malmö. He studied art from 1934 to 1937, including private studies under Edvin Ollers and Edward Berggren. An advertising illustrator from 1937 to 1948, he later focused on his art career, exhibiting solo in numerous cities. His works depict figures, still lifes, landscape scenes, and nudes by the sea, characterized by a light naturalistic style using a palette knife technique.
