Eric Zinman is an American pianist and composer known for his contributions to Free Jazz and New Improvised Music. Growing up in Boston, he trained as a child in piano and later studied under notable figures such as Bill Dixon and Ran Blake. Throughout his career, Zinman collaborated with various musicians within the Boston Jazz scene and founded the New Language Collaborative trio. He has released multiple albums and composed music for dance and theater, as well as engaging with visual artists and poets.
