Erik F. Harrison was a British immigrant who settled in Bergen in 1960. He became a prominent figure for DNF'48 in Bergen and was the first openly HIV-positive gay man in local newspapers. Passionate about promoting safe sex, he initiated Bergen Gay Radio and worked tirelessly for the LGBTQ+ community. For many years, he served as a DJ in Bergen's gay club and managed its printing press, which was a source of income for the region. Harrison passed away from AIDS in 1992 and was honored with the Homoprisen that same year.
