Nils Erik Hedfeldt was a Swedish jurist born on April 8, 1908, in Linköpings församling,Östergötlands län. After obtaining his law degree in 1931, he served in various judicial roles including fiscal and later assessor at Svea Court of Appeal. He held positions in the Social Department and as division chief at the Labor Market Commission. Hedfeldt served as a government council from 1952 to 1958 and as a Supreme Court Justice from 1958 until 1975. He was also chairman of Sweden's Authors' Fund from 1954 to 1963, and he passed away on June 22, 1986.
